Barrel Racing Barbie in Training Posts: 9438 Location: Somewhere Down in Texas	Last might marked my debute as Zippy the rodeo monkeys newest impersonator, I think I could be the best yet! My mother feeling sorry for me cause she's in Vegas told me to take her mare to the jackpot and run her. For a couple weeks now we've had suspicions something is wrong with her as she fell a couple weeks ago with mom and hit hard and hasn't really made a good run since and she had been working nice. Well Of course This idiot said nah she's just a biatch. (THat too) But I was WRONG. She wouldn't even lope a circle to the right warming up with out getting strung out and swapping leads 4 or 5 times. Stupid me lets enter her anyway. We ran in there and to the fence we went and she lunged and flung and I fliped and flopped, got her straightened out and her second and 3rds were gorgoeus other than she was turnen em so tight she caught em with her hip leaving. It was awful she's not a smooth horse anyway but needless to say this morning a chiroprachtor sounds wonderful. I left without Jag last night he was ticked, got home he was still ticked had to shoe him away from the other horses as I unloaded them as he kept running at them ears pinned. Did chores he had no desire to eat. This morning he wouldn't come to me, I fed him first like normal then the others he pushed the mares stall open runs in there and proceeds to whale on her. Then eats her grain. Wont' come to me I run tehm both out of the stall and he chases her around the pasture biting her. I fianlly get them both calmed down and he won't come to me and when I pet him he looks away. On a bright note the 4 year old did fabulas but I am missing running Jag so much I just had to whine about it.

Nosey! Posts: 6621 Location: Oregon	my mare was doing the same thing to the right. I had a massage dude look at her and it was her shoulders and her shoeing didn't help that either. I thought it was her hip. but anyways I think Jag is tickED at you, eh? you may consider taking him just for the ride and so he won't mame and kill the others! Too funny .... he misses you momma!

Barrel Racing Barbie in Training Posts: 9438 Location: Somewhere Down in Texas	I can't ride him with his tendon like it is, its not healed. If I go anywhere this weekend he's gonna go too. I'm not leaving him at home to run the fence again or paw in his stall.
