Asking for some Help......Please!

We have a race bred mare who is pretty hot on the ground.  Rode her last year after coming home from 30 days riding from a professional.  Had the wrong saddle, she got cinchy and now it's a head thing.  She has been adjusted, a new saddle which fits good, but still will have an occasional blow-up when saddling.  Knowing the horse, I really really think it is her being a "pistol"  Am embarrassed to say, but last week, just started to cinch her and she pulled back and what a wreck.  Well, then I left her tied up about all day and just started back in with her yesterday.

Gave her 2.5cc of Ace on the tongue, and we had a different horse!  I was so happy with her.  She was not hanging her head, just focused.  Saddling was easy, worked on lungeline both ways in correct leads, stopped at a verbal whoa, just perfect.  Long story short, I would like to know if anyone has used Finish Line's calm em product?  I really think if this mare would come down .5 of a notch, she could be awesome.  Terrific athlete and likes to run and turn when turned out.  I have tried B1 on her, didn't touch her.  Would just like to try a product that would be inexpensive and just level her out. Thanks!!!!

I tried the paste but I still liked Ace better. Only I used 1/4 of a cc and it took the edge off. I guess it depends on the horses tolerance. Used it about 5 times and then I quit using it...I guess my horse realized there wasn't anything scarie out there running the pattern and didn't need it anymore. They can build up a tolerance for Ace if used for the long term.

I started Calm 'em about a month ago on my older horse.  He would become really hyped in the alleyway and by the time we rounded 3rd he was a runaway.  REALLY scary!  Would not listen, would not stop - just zoned and was an idiot to ride.  Great manners on the ground, but a head case to ride anywhere.

Well I competed twice since starting the Calm'em and let me tell you he is a different guy altogether.  He is not droopy or dopey, but is focused and listens AND has a wonderful whoa!  Even stays calm during slow work at home.  I love the stuff and have put my colt on it - he is a spooky lunging mess sometimes and I want to see if it helps.  Only on it 2 days, so I am waiting - it says 10 days to see results. My fingers are crossed that is has as much of an effect on him as the seasoned horse.  I will be in heaven!

I have never tried Ace, but I will be sure and have a supply of Calm'em at all times.  I think it is wonderful!

Mouse, I got a gallon of the stuff for free when I order my fluid action last year, and I haven't used it on anything so If I ever run into you, I will try and have it in my trailer and you can try it....  I thought about just feeding it, cause it has vitamins in  it, but didn't really ever follow through with it, it's just sitting there,
