She is out of town.  I talked with her last Tuesday and she was doing fine.  I believe that she took the grey horse home when she went to the Barrel Mania.  They left out Thursday for Hattisburg and then on down to Florida.  They will be gone for two weeks she said.  I know she is still a little tender at times when she ride.  But other than that, I think she is healing fine.  Just wanted to let you guys know that she wouldn't be answering this post due to the fact she is out of town.

I will call her when she gets home and tell her she needs to get on here.

Wooppss!! maybe  I'm behind now.  I didn't know about her horse getting hurt in Hattisburg.  I new she had a spill about 2-3 months ago, but nothing other than that.  If someone runs into her anytime soon, find out how she is doing.

It's not good for her horse to come in the allyway from the side and the promoter would not let her come straight in. so it throw her horse off it's run. then going to the first barrel the horse sliped and ran  wild. she ran over the drag behind the tractor. the horse had injury to her right hind leg. she had the horse vet checked. it will take a few days before she would know how much damage was done. my prayers are with her.

I've always thought it was dangerous to keep the tractors and drags in the arena. But often times there is not a good place to hold them out back either.

Hi every one, I talked to Runfast yesterday, I'm taking care of her horse, while she is working at a throughbred sale, in Florida. She is fine, was alittle sore from the jolt. Her mare is doing great, we are going to ultra sound the leg in a day or two. Her attitude is great!

I agree with you on the tractor in the arena. It wouldn't  take that much effort to put a few portable livestock panels around the tractor to drive into at tha back corner of the arena. The gate man could close  & open the gate  for the tractor person. If enough of us got together & voiced our opinion publicly I think it could be done. just wanting everyone & their horses to be safe!

Hi every one, Just herad from RunFast, She is doing great! Have a very sucessfull Oxy-Gen showing at the Florida Throughbred sale. She said when her mare stumubled at the First barrel in Hattiesburg, She bumped the easy stop on the barrel or ground, she is not sure which and it Fliped! That ment poor Whitty could not get away from the jaw pressure, and she ran wild, till She  could get her back under control and sadly, Yes, the mare ran through the drag. However she is doing great (the mare) and should heal up just fine. Sharon said to say Hi to everyone and Thank You for thinking of her. HEY what are friends for!!!!!
