I was just in charge of go round awards and personnel gifts at the United Rodeo Association Finals and did some different things this year.
Wooden clocks, wooden shelves with a barrel racer on them, bar stools for our announcers, embroidered throw blankets, duffel bags, a western lamp for our outgoing president, custom cuff bracelets for our timers, and even coffee mugs.

The wooden stuff I got from Cowgirl's Corral, and their Facebook page has pictures of a lot of awards they've done. The owners are barrel racers and they come up with some awesome ideas. I asked for suggestions on announcer gifts and they came up with bar stools. Both of our announcers had their bar stools on the announcers stand Saturday night, so I think they were a hit. :

One of the more useful things we have gotten has been a hay bag with rollers that is large enough to carry a bale. Also have gotten.... Roping dummies, halters, breast collers, rope and goat string cans, turn out blankets, boots, jeans, hats, back packs, scooters, buckets, grooming supplies, feed bags, metal stirrups, bell and split boots... All of this stuff can be personalized.

Agreed- I would be SUPER excited about back cinch buckles!!

I dont think you can go wrong with any sort of tack, or blankets either...

Here are some items that I have given as my district awards in the last several years.  All were monogrammed . . .

Belt Buckles
Rolling hay bag (BIG hit with members)
Director's chairs (not the wooden leg ones but ones with metal legs)
Combo hay/grain feeder
Bronc halters

I'm starting my 4th year as director for our local NBHA district.  It's getting harder and harder to find DIFFERENT awards because I tend to see the same people each year placing for district awards.

I don't know how many awards you have to do but we just finished up our playday series: 3 events, 4 different divisions, and a different award for 1-6 in each event (but same for each division).  We decided to do biggest value to 1st place, smallest value to 6th.

KO Trading was a LIFE SAVER!!!!!  And super amazing to deal with.  They sent me their awards magazine.  I basically was able to set up an excel spreadsheet, pick out a vast array of awards at the levels and what not that I needed, shipped the excel spreadsheet, and they monogrammed/engraved/etc on everything and all turned out super great!!  I think all in it was a $2.5k price just for those.

They were on time, quick, and super easy to work with.  They made my life SO EASY!!!

If there isnt a lot of awards involved I am totally into local businesses and what not but for this kind of order I needed a one stop shop and they have everything.  I was so pleased with how everything turned out.

They are getting our business again next year and I know a few other teams at the church that have asked for the magazine to look for things.
