Location: Near San Antonio, TX | Hi, sorry for the delay in updating. I still have not found my dogs. I have put up tons of signs, and I honestly feel someone has them, but just hasn't seen my posters of "missing dogs" yet. I am so heartbroken and want them home.
I did what I didn't want to do. I called Toni Trimble. I really didn't want to go there. But I did. Just to give a quick run-down of what she said, I told her my dogs were missing, they dug out, she said "Are you sure they dug out? They think you let them out." (GASP FAINT!) My husband did leave the back gate open, so I can see how they would think that, but technically they did go under (or dig under) the fence in the back pasture. She proceeded to tell me that after they went under the fence, they kind of went to the left, around a pond, then came to a two-land asphalt road. That is the route I would have expected them to take, she hit that right on as well. To make a short story long, she believes they are together, uninjured and someone is caring for them. She thinks they are "at least" a mile away and in something woode, like a wooden horse stall, or wooden shed...? I drove around, searched on Google Earth to the point I am becoming consumed. I have put out more flyers over the weekend.
I ask for continued prayers, this is just awful. We are talking not one, but two of my dogs. One of which my husband has had for nearly 11 years, who has been his sidekick. If and when I get those girls home I had someone just send me a link to a dog tracking device, similar to "find my iphone" but it is "find my dog." LOL! They are getting that! It is neat, even if they get out of the yard I get notified before they get into too much mischief. Now, it is just a matter of getting them back. They are sweet girls, and I only hope that whoever has them didn't just fall in love with them past the point of not wanting to find their home. I am offering a decent reward to hopefully deter that. |

That is really a neat idea. I never knew such a thing existed! There is always the possibility that they get out of their collar, or if it didn't get charged up that month (I think the charge is only good for about 30 days?). But still, I am getting that, it is really a great idea, and had I had it, I would have my girls home now. |

| Continued prayers. My nephews dogs got out and he hired a service that came out and brought tracking dogs to follow their trail. The trail led to a neighborhood where they concentrated the flyers and they were in that area and returned when the person saw the flyer. I think it was around $300.
