Location: You never know where I will show up...... | I sold mine and she'll be making her first competition run for her new owner in a couple weeks at the BFA. I might just have 2 derby horses for myself next year if they both get healed up. |

Location: Kansas | Only one link is hot not sure what I did wrong.
My favorite 3 yr old just left to go back home this morning she sustained an injury just playing in the pasture and we will hold her another year just so we aren't tempted to bring her back to soon. She was the sister to Cool Ta Fame. So that is a bummer!!
Here is my Ivory James I bought the end of May. He had an abscess when I bought him and then he had the hives for a month because he wasn't used to the pasture setting so I didn't get to start going on the barrels until Aug 1 because he was only race track broke to boot. So with all this he still isn't doing that bad. I tried to get him sold many times because we were so far behind but I am glad he didn't sell now. I have him in the Juvenile just for experience and no expectations. I am sending payments to the Diamond and Dirt hoping he will be more finished/seasoned by then. And Ft Smith and OKC are two I will enter all the others futurity stuff is dependent on how he is doing. I really love this horse so no matter what I am enjoying him. He still spooks at barrels a lot so OKC might be interesting. He might turn good or he might run the other way!! LOL!

This one is a Frenchmans Guy mare and she is doing pretty good just a few minor details to work out. None of mine have been on the clock except at Juds back the end of Sept. She was a little over a second off back then. I don't worry about the clock I just train them and ask them for more the day of the Juvenile. I am not big on making runs on a 3 yr old asking them for everything. I do more slow work than I probably should but it works for me.

Location: Wearing a winter coat...... | My boy was side lined from OKC due to a chip. Had surgery in September so hopefully we will hit a few in the spring. Not sure if we will do Fort Smith due to him being behind. I learned the cost and sorrows of playing the game very fast..... Here he is - http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.php?query_type=horse&h=DASHIN...

| I had high hopes for mine, but we were a little late going into the "3 year old slump" and still working our way out! She's exh'ing .5 second off now, but that would probably put us in the 3D when we go to the futurities lol
She's one of those colts you have to keep busy all the time!! LOVES poles but barrels are a little boring for her! haha

| I entered my 4 year old in the BFA, because back in January I was just sure she'd be ready! (She is a 5 year old futurity horse.) We've been struggling with a front end lameness, so she just kept sitting while we were trying to get her feeling well. So in around August we started on the pattern. I planned to haul her to exhibition in October, then almost everything got cancelled because of weather. In the last 4 weeks I've changed shoeing and headgear, so we're still in the process of figuring things out. Haven't put her on the clock, but I know we're slow! So OKC is basically going to be some exhibitions for us. But she's paid up, and I've got a Derby and Open entry, so she's going! But on a positive note, I hauled her almost 3 hours to exhibition last night, and today she's playing in the pen looking really sound, so hopefully that means she's feeling better.
This is her pedigree:

I'll post on this thread since she is 'related' LOL :) She is owned by Carol Lee and trained by Amanda Welsh and a Slim filly. It will be Slim's oldest baby and first futurity offspring. Candy has a little bit earned on the track in a few outs and they then decided not to get her injured and save her for barrels. Wishing the whole team nothing but the very, very best of luck!!
