I'm getting my SO a fancy dancy wine stopper and some custom coasters for your drinks! (I'm really sick of seeing those stupid cardboard ones that you get from the bars.)

I have learned, as long as your gift is thoughtful and useful it will be appreciated... they love you enough to date you... he probably isn't dating you for your gifts you give him.

I am getting my hubby an Otter Box for his iphone, some Walls slanted roping stirrups, and some ammo for his .45. (We live in California and ammo is very hard to come by.) I might also get him a headstall of his own for his horse so he doesn't havr to use my "blingy" ones. LOL

If you haven't already gotten the otterbox, buy one from Amazon! They're so much cheaper!

Mine is easy to shop for because he has horses and barrel races. I actually have more ideas than what my price range will allow, and am pretty sure I'm going to order a photo collage of his pictures from a rodeo finals earlier this year. My family members are buying him some things too and so I've been sharing my smaller ideas (DVD's of TV shows he likes, random horse stuff he can always use, etc.) with them and over the weekend I dropped the hint to his mom that he needs a new plastic pitchfork for the barn.

My boyfriend and I don't do presents....but his birthday is on New Years Eve so I end up practically Xmas shopping.  I did get him his first pair of cowboy boots for Xmas this year.  They were supposed to be from the entire family but I ended up buying a pair when we went to Boot Barn to try on boots for sizing.

for his birthday, I'm thinking an electric shaver because his old one died and he HATES shaving with a razor.  Maybe some basketball shorts or comfy sweats because he loves his comfy clothes.

LRQHS - 2013-12-02 3:12 PM  My boyfriend's ex wife took the things that he treasured most lol.......he mention's at least once a week that she took his gumbo pot......he laments about it........she called him to go jump her car when the battery died on her at work......I told him to tell her no problem, I will come jump your car, but I need my gumbo pot back first........he's too nice and didn't bargin with her......so, I constantly have to hear about that **** pot.........well, guess what??? He is getting the biggest, baddest gumbo pot I can find, just so I don't have to hear that crap any more. She, also, took the top tier of a 3 tier fountain that is in his yard. I have to hear about that too.....so, I have have to find one of those or go steal the one she took from him back......I hear it's just on the floor in her garage now......I could probably pull it off.

And, other than that, he's getting cologne, because the crap he bought for himself smells like my grandpa after jumping in a bottle of Old Spice. It's very strong and stinky.

And, I will probably buy him some new panties. All of his look like my grandpa's old dirty drawers.......I guess he's going to wear them until they fall off of him or I go get him some.....

oh, and what he really, really wants is a fancy table saw......after nearly cutting three of his fingers off on a table saw earlier this year and basically, just having 7 functional fingers now.........I probably am not going to get that for him.

You crack me up! - I hope you are able to find a fountain to swipe the top off of - would suck to have to buy the whole thing just for the top - keep us posted on this - LOL!

My hubby is all about roping this year, he went through the nrs magazine and gave me a list, some with, "I think this is too much" but I want it !  I spent enough on splint/bell boots and a barrier yesterday to get the free cinch jacket I also need to find a Chris Ledoux box set (wish we could do itunes) but we drive old vehicles and I should be done, hard to be the 17 caliber lever action rifle I bought him last year!  I love to buy stuff he never would-there are so many things he "needs" that he buys himself that he doesn't ever spoil himself, only me and our kids so it's the least I can do !
