OK so I bought a new saddle and I just got it in the other day, and like everyone else, I couldn't wait to put it on my horse to see if it fits. I was so happy to find out that out that it fits his shoulders and back perfectly but the back end of the saddle goes up about an inch. I went from a regular working saddle pad to one with some built up in the back and it just made the back end go up higher. I sat in the saddle and walked around for a little bit, with the working pad, and it went down from my weight but there's still about half an inch up from the saddle pad. Will it go down with use or should I get a pad with some built up in the shoulders?

The saddle is too wide in the front. You need to use a built up pad to raise the front of the saddle not that back. You can shim the front to fit or buy a saddle that fits. I wish you luck. Nothing is worse than the feeling of putting your new saddle on your horse and find it does not fit.

Can you get pictures of the saddle sitting on your horses back?

This is the only image I have right now. I'd go out today to take more but as everyone knows, ITS FREEZING!! Hahaha.
It fit's his shoulders pretty good, no pinching and the top isn't pushing down on his withers.

The picture helps, move it all back about two inches. It appears to be sitting a bit forward by the picture.

Looks like there is too much rock in the bars. But think of this if it was really pressing down on the horses back before you got on it would be even worse when you sat down. So some rock verses pressing down in the back is the better alternative.
