Considering selling my 4 horse slant CM trailer, 2003. Allumininum. How do people know how to price trailers since they is not a blue book for them? It's 4 foot short wall, drop windows on head side and sliding windows on back. Back tack. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm in the same boat... Am wanting to get my trailer on the market to upgrade to something different but have been having trouble deciding what I want to price it at.  It's like--I know what I'd like to get out of it but am not sure if that's reasonable or not.  I've been comparing to similar trailers on horsetrailerworld and craigslist.  I think I am going to get it advertised and priced at what I'd like to get and what I think is reasonable, see if I get any bites and just go from there.

As far as taking off for repairs, I think it really depends all on what it is.  Some repairs are much pricier than others and I think the price needs to reflect that.

I don't have a good answer but will say when I was looking at trailers I saw many that were priced for the same or close to what I could buy new, same brand or equal. So if it's within afew thousand of new a buyer is better off buying new.

That's a crock. my insurance told me that my trailer is worth a little more then half of what I paid for it. And it is a top of the line trailer with all the bells and whistles. I have been dealing with my insurance company and do not believe anything they say.

Seems like the comparables are all over the place. I guess I could put an asking price and always go down from there....
