Location: Kentucky | If you have it, how did you find out? What were your symptoms? How are you treating it? I want to ask my doctor about it, but I don't want to say "I googled my symptoms" because she may slap me. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | Β I was tested for it when I was around 20 but didn't show to have it. You just ask your dr about getting tested. It's a really common thing to test for, so shouldn't be a big deal to ask. |

Is it just a blood test? |

Β Yes, just a blood test. I think they look at certain hormone levels, but not sure. |

My body has just gone beserk. Everyone is blaming it on my body adjusting to no BC, but I've been off of it for over 7 months now. Something funky is going on. |

I had an ultrasound about 3/4 months ago because my periods were irregular and really long (over two weeks). My doc said everything checked out ok then, but I have no idea what she was looking for. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | It can take 12-18 months for some people to adjust to going off BC. BC is such a good thing, but it can do bad things to you too. I had migraines and hot flashes when I went off of it. Just tell your doc you feel like your hormones are out of whack and you want to know what's going on. |

Yea, I missed an entire summer of periods. Still not sure why! I really didn't fit the other symptoms of PCOS, but they said it was likely why I was having the irregularity. It was supposed to be difficult for both my husband and I to get pregnant, but that doesn't seem to be the case, lol, as we are on our 4th. I know for myself that since having kids my periods have evened out a bit. Hormones, I can't vouch for that . Hope you get it figured out |
