So after such a huge uproar and all the media about the move, what is currently going on?  I can't find anything recent on what is being done or going on?

Just read this morning that RFD TV offered PRCA a million dollars and 200 hours of broadcasting the WNFR and other rodeo events, and they turned it down, choosing to pay CBSN for 48 hours of broadcast...Makes no sense to me...RFD would have done a great job, as has GAC in the past.

One thing I am pretty sure about...There will be a breaking attendance record for the 2014 WNFR since many think this might be the last year. So Vegas wins once again. I know quite a few people that have already made hotel reservations.

Attending because of the WNFR. The tickets are always sold out even though there are empty seats and that is why they started selling Mad Dash tickets.

For an example...A few years ago..South Point had one big room for viewing the Rodeo upstairs along with numerous small bars and the room they have the buckle presentation. This year they had numerous rooms upstairs to accomodate everyone. I do know they keep track of people entering the Cowboy Christmas and they showed on TV that they had broke record attendance for it.

The activities and shopping for the WNFR have grown each year since we started going about 10 years ago.

And as far as the T&M...Every night they would announce the attendance as tickets sold and people actually attending are 2 different things, on their local news and the one night we were there, they stated it was a record attendance.
