Location: Michigan		Walls twisted slanted or just the slanted worked very well for me. I've had a shattered knee cap & ankle on the same leg. After using those stirrups, I can walk after riding for an hour. Prior to those stirrups I was in a lot of pain and could barely walk & hardly stand after riding.

Location: Michigan		Forgot to add that the majority of younger people like the 2 inch and older people prefer the 3 inch as it provides more surface area for the foot to rest on.
