Location: In The Snow, AZ | Was curious if anyone has fed the Loyal dog food, by Nutrena? We started our mastiff pup and our small mixed breed on it. Just looking to see if anyone else has any experience with it... |

It doesn't rate very high. I checked when I was looking for a new food for my dog with skin allergys. Right now I am trying White Fish (4 Health). |

Location: LaBelle, Florida | You also have to remember that even a good dog food may not work for your dog. Case in point, my dogs.
I have a Jack Russle, Australian Shepherd and a German Shepherd. The dry dog food I use is rated a 4 star on dog food advisor. The Jack Russle and the Ausie do great on it, my GSD blew her coat to nearly naked in a 3-4 weeks time after I got lazy and put her on the kibble.
She was fed raw from the breeder and then I continued but suplemented with a puppy food and then adult food once she was little older. I fed her raw food mostly and gave her kibble only a couple times a week. Got lazy and went straight kibble (same food) and that is when she blew her coat.
I finally realized that it might be the dog food doing it and went back to raw. Within 2 weeks, her coat started coming back in and her shine came back.
So as long as the dog food has the nutrients your dog needs and it is agreeing with the dog...go for it.
