Just looking for advice from people that have fed these supplements. I don't have a specific problem to address but just considering adding a few of these to the feed regimen as preventative maintenance.

i have fed acv for years (except in the winter).......i like kelp as well(hard to find unless im a bad researcher..lol) i have used the aloe as well, never noticed a huge change......i will not feed my horse oil(like corn or canola) i dont believe they can digest it well.......i do like whole flax......i try to keep things very simple and not a lot of processed stuff......i also feed garlic

p.s.i also use acv with sea salt as a whole body rub after a run.....

My horses that probably should have that stuff, will not eat it! The oil works for weight gain but it's messy and I use rice bran instead if they need some fat.  All the other stuff, mmmmm I think you have to believe it works.  (Please don't flame me) LOL

I used to measure out my ACV and I used like 1/4 c. Once you figure out about how much that is, you can just guess! I've fed both and felt like they helped quite a bit. Still feed ACV every now and then.

i feed half a cup of aloe vera juice once a day in their grain to both of my horses. I really noticed an improvement in my mare, settling her nervous stomach. I have also fed ACV before but cant remember how much i used to feed.

I'm curious to know what differences people see in their horses from feeding ACV? What is the reason behind it? Also what purpose does Aloe Vera juice serve other than a stomoch soother?

I have fed ACV for years now. Make sure its in the raw with the "mother". The other distilled and processed can create stomach ulcers. Its good for many things. I use braggs. Its great for horses that have arthritis or calcification. Good for the coat. You can go to braggs website and it gives the benefits for humans and animals.

Unless you can explain "raw" and "mother", I'm dragging out my tinfoil hat for the duration of this thread!
