It's that time again.  If your horse was a 3 year old on 12-31-13  It is Now, as of January 1, 2014 considered a 4 year old no matter what it's actual Birth Day is in 2014.  Makes a big difference & saves a lot of search time for folks looking at Futurity Prospects.

I agree with you.  A real simple fix to this would be to have a field to put the year the horse was born.  Not to actually calculate the age. Thanks for the reminder.

As a buyer and a seller I prefer YOB to Age. It frustrates the snot out of me when people think their May 2012 baby is a yearling until May.
