Ugh....so my lynn mckenzie special doesnt fit my mare.. its all wrong. I LOVE this saddle... do you think the wide would fit? She fits in my sqhb pleasure saddle. Oh and she is a june 2011 baby so she isnt done growing either

My opinion, and it may not be worth much, but that the saddle is too wide and falling down in the gullet. Sticks up in back. Your semi probably fits better because its not falling down pinching.

I thought so too....like if she had more shouldrs and whithers to hold it up, it would fit better. Its like she has no shape to hold it. And the bars are two wide at the back

Look for something in a REGULAR Q/H bar. Not all are the same, some meant for slab sidded, etc. Just a nice decent angle to the bars. Hate saddle fit problems ,ugh

i have a horse that is narrow chested and a big ole booty. the further you go back, the wider he is (he is literally shaped like a v), so needles to say fitting him with a saddle is a nightmare. if it fits in the front, it pinched in the back, if it was wide enough for the back, it pinched his shoulders. ugh. i played around with shims and finally got the saddle that was a little to wide up front to work, by using the shims to pick up the front end of the saddle.
