I had posted a month or two or three (can't exactly remember) about my ongoing constipation and let me tell you...I think. It's. Gone!!!!! I took you all's advice and started eating CLEAN last week, working out, and drinking a lot more water which I was planning on doing anyways because I need to lose weight! But holy crap (no pun intended) I can actually go once, sometimes twice a day and they're back to normal where they were about 2 years ago! I hope I'm not jinxing myself by writing all of this either...I also splurged with some cake and smoked cheese a little on my grandpa's birthday yesterday and let me tell ya, I could really feel it. I was gassy, my stomach hurt last night, and I woke up this morning not feeling good either! I haven't noticed any nausea but that's more of a come and go thing with my IBS (if I really do have it). So anyways, thanks for all of the advice and even prayers if there were any because I feel so much better now that my digestive tract is moving normally again. I'm on my way to healthier and better me

Many years ago when I was furthering my education, I had a professor say that a good bowel movement could be more satisfying than sex.  As the professor aknowleged my raised hand, I responded, "Professor, either I don't know how to take a crap or you don't know how to have sex."

Paraphased for the sake of decorum.

Thanks everyone!! Lol. And that's so funny!! Lmao! But if you really can't have a good crap or go at all and feel bloated all the time, then I do have to say that I could be a little more excited about a bowel movement than sex O_O But mooooost of the time, I agree with you

I notice when i eat too many carbs i get a little slow. I have a stomach problem my stomach does not as fast asit is supposed too like if normal is onehour my is slightly over 2 hours. But the rest of my digestive system works okay but it is conditonal of what i eat my blood sugar is slighly elevated my genes i am most likley going to end up diabetic, so i am dutting back on carbs and guttens. I do feel better.

Of course, i had to read... If you haven't already, check out the post about being gluten free. Luckynggsgirl posted a link that may be useful. Gluten intolerance can mimic the signs of IBS. "both ways" lol. Because you mentioned cake as part of what may have caused issues, you may want to try GF for a few weeks. :-)

(luckynggsgirl is my daughter. Our lives were dramatically changed by going gluten free).

Thanks everyone!! I may have a gluten intolerance but I do know that I don't have Celiac disease because they tested me when they scoped me. I could have one though! Since I've been eating clean I've eaten fruits, vegetables, oatmeal with flaxseed, eggs, chicken and tuna, nuts, tons of water, and not a whole lot of anything else! I have had a little bit of peanut butter because I can't eat my bananas without it and I did have a little ranch dressing on a salad the other day but other than that I've been doing pretty good! I also have been eating some deer sausage which isn't the best because of all the salt but I can't let my 8 point go to waste
