I have a featherlite aluminum 3h that I pull with a 1500 dodge, switch from a 3h steel. It pulls great with 2 horses but you can tell it's working the truck with 3 or more horses in it. Just make sure you have good brakes as someone else stated and I think it should be fine.

I have a trailer same size that I pulled with my F150 for years. The truck is still going strong. However I live in Florida and it's flat. We hauled it to Augusta GA/SC a few times and had no major problems, but there were a few "hills" that we struggled up. If I drove in any major hills or mountains I would worry about the tranny.
Someone said stopping it would be a problem, but if you have brakes on the trailer I'm not sure why that would be a worry. Even here in Florida every goose neck we have has brakes.
