I am looking for a joint supplement for my 8 year old mare she has a collapsed hock and terrible arthritis I am starting to ride her again and getting her legged back up and just want something that is going to help her and her joints and arthritis while we go back to competing! I was looking into T.H.E equine edge jointPLUS supplement or the flamOXIDE one and was wondering if anyone knows or uses them and what you think and T.H.E GluChon MSN C? I was leaning more towards this one but I don't know any help is appreciated! Thanks!!

I have my gelding on a generic type of injectible glucosamine ( because Adaquan is backordered at my vet) and he's doing great! It's about $7 a dose

Sorry, I've not fed the THE, but know people that swear by Lubrysin and Formula 1 Blue Label.

It sounds like you need THE FlamOxide. This is great for arthritis, rheumatoid, and bursitis. People think that all joint products help with arthritis, but in fact basically all of them are for healthy joints and prevention. If the joint is already damaged you need to take something else. Makes sense. THE FlamOxide is the only product I know of that is great for any type of old injury or arthritis. THE JointPLUS is great as well but for healthy joints and mild arthritis. I would put my money on FlamOxide before anything else.

Thanks so much for the info it really helped! I guess I might give that one a try then I just want her to be as comfortable as possible since we have a big summer planned out ahead of us! I guess if I wanted to I could still keep her on adequan and give her this supplement to then? or should I pick one or the other?
