Location: The edge of no where		Waste of time.  Blistering legs is an outdated method, lots better options available now.  The rest helps more than the actual blister.

Location: Memphis, TN		It was recommended I do it to my gelding but I could never talk myself into doing it. I make sure to do a lot of trotting, backing and trotting out of it, I stay away from small circles other than when we run. I poultice his stifles the night before a race and then when I get ready to warm up I put liniment on his stifles. Magnets before and after each run. He also gets Oxygen Fluidity once a month. I did the loading dose then monthly maintenance. I also ended up switching to the right first after running left for about 3 years. I only run once and roll my time over. So far I've been able to avoid having to inject. As far as blistering I can't remember which brand but I was told to rub dish washing soap over his stifle. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR		 I think there are much more effective things out there, especially for stifles.  I did blister hocks with fire paint once, after they had already been freeze fired.  The freeze firing helped, blistering didn't make a difference.  My horse barely even reacted to it--not the usual dramatic swelling and hair loss you usually see.
