Yeah, so my dad/landlord complaining about our usage just got a lot more important. |

| We don't heat with propane, but some of our friends do. They managed to get it for $1.99 a gallon a few weeks ago. Yikes what a jump. =(

| we filled a few weeks ago for $2.50 or so. $750 bill about made me cry...hubby said "oh that should last about a month" WHAT!!!!!! and he is right. I don't even want to know what it has jumped to now. He turned the baseboard heaters back on to limit our propane use. We have a "heat source air pump" that runs VERY efficiently above 30 degrees. I wonder if we will see 30 for any amount of time before May :( |

Location: Oklahoma | Ugh!!! I guess we're fortunate that our house isn't electric, but my husband's shop and our workout room is propane. My niece's fiance texted me last night and was wondering if the heater was broke and I told him that it was probably just out of propane and that we'd order some pretty quick.
I don't think I'm gonna be ordering some so quickly now! |

| Mine was like that 3 years ago, one of my customers lived in a house trailer and was telling one of my guys about those amish style heaters. Well next year i bought 2 and cust my propane use fron 1750. For the winter to 800:00. well i bought 1 small one and another, well last month my electric bill was about 125.00 above what it is normally, this month has been colder so i wont know, but i have been warm 70 degrees and the last 3 or 4 night been close to zero and in 20 to 25, still 70, although i did close a unused bedroom off, better that 600.00 a month. My house sits on a large lake and has big windows in front of my house and same at the back door. I just cant see paying all that to propane company.
