| What do you know about Corona Cartel Grandson's. I haven't seen very many run barrels. How have they been doing and what kind of style and behavior do they have.

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | well the PYC Paint Your Wagon and his full brother Ivory James are doing very VERY well. They are bringing top dollar too. I'm blessed to have an IJ and would love 10 more and maybe some PYC's thrown in for good measure. |

Location: Probably On the Road to the Next Barrel Race! | I have a granddughter of FDD and CC...started on barrels, she is OTT and laid back, good natured, quick learner, extremely graceful and fluid. I paid 3k for her as a 2 yo, bought her off of BHW. However, she is really pretty, gray, so she sold fast, I'm just glad it was to me, Id buy another... |

Location: NE Texas | I have a filly by a son of CC and while I haven't gotten to do much with her yet, I love how she's made and I love her mind. She is an absolute doll! Her sire is now in Brazil, but from what i'm seeing with the CC grandget, i'd sure love to have more! |

| I have a filly by Hot Corona and I love love love her!! She has so much ability and try!! She can be a little goofy and immature about some things but she seems to be growing out of it the more I do with her. |

Many horses at the Heritage horse sale were out of those two, plus out of CC, and they looked very nice. Most of them seemed to have won some money too if they raced. Pricey though. If i could get my hands on one I would not let it go easily lol. |

Yes. That horse's mother is Pie Sky Promises and you could probably breed her to a donkey and get a good one. I think all of her babies have been good barrel horses - Promises To Dash, No Question No Lies - there's a couple more but I can't remember their names. Joyous Bugs was also quite the producer. Sorry, but I am not impressed with any of the Cartel lines as barrel horses. There might be a couple that turn out, but I just haven't seen where they crave to turn like the DTF, FG, and FWF horses. Maybe one crossed on a DTF mare? People have been trying them for years and that line just hasn't taken off as much as it should have if they were really bred for barrels. JMO. If I wanted to run straight down the track I would get one, or I would try one out of a Fame mare, otherwise I would stick with the lines proven that they can run AND turn. |

We bred a daughter of CC to DTF....the resulting filly was immature and flighty.....I blame it all on the CC side |
