What is everyone paying for a tube of bute paste?? The vet just charged us $30 for 1 tube and that seems a lot to me. I think last year we paid like $17....

I have heard it went up quiet a bit and at one point was really hard to get a hold of.

Wow makes me glad I order the pills they were only $15.00 for 100. I also believe they have changed them over the years so much easier to crush now. Glad my old horse hates the paste.

I bought 2 tubes of paste within the last month and it was about $30, was bummed it was so expensive the powder is cheaper but my horse wouldn't touch it no matter what we did to it.

It has been very expensive due to short listing and backorders the last year or two. We've been compounding at $10 a tube to meet the demand when applicable. I was charged $40 for a tube!

I always buy the powder then make my paste, I think it is quite a bit cheaper that way. I just know when I started doing that it was cheaper for the powder and it seemed to last alot longer. I mix it with apple sauce in a big syringe and squirt it in their mouth.
