I keep telling myself that as well, but I found this cute little roan that's not far from where I live......I really need to sell the one I have on here before I buy anything else.....but....I'm a sucker for roans.

Oh but you do need another horse, heck we all need another horse     Question: why is it a freebie? Sounds like a good deal

I know the feeling...since my barn is currently empty after sending my filly off for 30 days and my other mare losing a battle to colic.  I keep catching myself shopping a LOT.  Keep telling myself I don't need another horse so I can concentrate on my filly when she comes home.
I even scrubbed my STOVE(no horse to play with).....so ready for my filly to come home.

We should stage a BHW intervention. Stove cleaning crosses a cowgirl line of some sort. You need another horse. Who can only have one?!

Please do!  I don't think I can handle much more doing house work out of boredom.

The story goes that this mare was "too much horse" for the previous owner (she is supposedly really quick) so  she was given to the now current owner a few months ago. The mare is only 14.2 and the current owner is 6 ft and does not barrel race.

At least you actually DO the housework. I am in a winter time funk and just sit around miserable, looking at all the work that needs to be done.....

No...not really, much to my hubby's dismay.   Although he doesn't complain because he knows it won't do any good.  He did propose to me IN the barn after all, so he had full disclosure on what he was getting into.

I was just really bored and had already been out to play with my GSD and she was lounging in her pen under a fan.

The stove was beginning to look like something might jump out of it, so I HAD to do something with it.

Well looks like it wasn't meant to be. The original owner now wants her back (lots of drama going on with that).

I really didn't NEED a third horse anyway........
