I work at a barn that feeds buckeye. I'm not sure on the prices .. All around $20 a bag I believe. Anyways , we feed cadence which all the horses on that look great weight wise & so shiny . I dislike their senior very much . We were feeding purina senior , we switched to buckeye senior (everyone got the same amount as purina ) & every horse lost alot of weight & they all hated the buckeye senior, it looks dry & unpalatable to me ... The growth does good on all the babies and broodmares but again it looks dry @ unpalatable .. They eat it but it isn't their favorite thing to eat .

No, not gro n win. They are on the actual growth feed. They do good on it.

I have kept all of my foals on Grow N Win up until they are close to if not 2 years old. I have tried many different growth formula's and they all seemed to give my foals issues at some point. With the Grow N Win I have not joint issues at all. I pick the formula that matches my hay and away we go. I highly recommend it for foals. I don't however feed any of their other feeds. No real big reason why other then they were always just a couple bucks higher in cost then others. The rest get a tribute feed.

We fed Gro N Win for about a year before switching to TC 30% just because it was closer. The price was around $30 for 50#. We fed 1-2lbs per day depending on the horse. Easy keepers only got 1lb per day with some flax. The ones that needed a little more got 2lbs.

Tried it on a hard keeper along with a lot of high fat add ons but it was too expensive. But it saves a ton when feeding it to easy keepers or as a supplement to oats, rice bran, etc. You can feed 1lb Gro N Win and as much regular feed as you want and you still get all the goodies the horse needs without over feeding grain.

I love it. It's a great feed. Wouldn't hesitate to use it again for our easy keeper if the store that carries it was closer.

It put a nice bloom on my herd of 6-12 year olds.

I use it on all of my horses! and I've seen amazing results with it!

my finished horses get 2lbs per day and depending if they need a lil extra pickup in thier step they get 2lbs of Cadience.

My coming 2yr old and prego mare get 3.5 to 4 lbs of grow n win

When I first started feeding it to my gelding, his back filled out so much that I had to change saddles within the month!

I did at one point try the Grow N Win for the entire heard. The easy keepers were fine on it but it ended up being more expenisve when I had to add things to it for those that needed that extra bit of weight. So I did switch out the rest to something else. But for my young ones I like the Grow N Win.
