Location: Qld Australia | OK, I am having technical problems, I will keep trying to post picture of Pixie my new Mini Foxy.
I lost my last Mini Foxy Levi at the end of 2012 after 7 years and 7 months. My little boy has been wanting me to get an 'inside' dog but I have not been ready to replace Levi as he was seriously the best dog. If I was outside, he was an awesome outside dog, if I was inside, he was an inside dog.
After Christmas Leo asked again and I though, ok, I am ready now. As we breed dogs and have bred Mini Foxies in the past and will do again, I am very picky about what I get. I looked hight and low for a natural stumpy tail like Levi was and am amazed at the garbage people try to pass off as Mini Foxies. I eventually got onto this litter and of course the best one was a dog and I wanted a female from this line lol. I go what I consider the 2nd best of the litter and she actually is a natural 'rumpy' so has no tail at all.

Location: Red Raiderland | She is sooo adorable! Show us a pic of the tailless hiney! Is this a Fox Terrier or a specific breed in Australia? I can totally understand you not wanting a new dog as I was in the same boat as you 10 years ago but the Doxie that I ended up getting, "Kaycee", has topped any dog I have ever had. She is my girl! She just turned 9 in Nov and it seriously breaks my heart that she is getting up in years. I can't bare to see the grey hairs appear on her chin and mouth. She survived cancer a year ago Sept so every day with her is pure joy! |

I know how you feel!! Hugs to you and Kaycee.
Mini Foxies are an Australian breed, I believe the US has Toy Foxies but they are not QUITE the same thing. Minies are great dogs, they are fantastic hunters and as I am on a farm our Minies are always farm dogs first and pet dogs second. My Levi would even lug up on boars (much to my horror). Brilliant little dogs!!!!!
I will take a pic tonight of her little butt lol. |
