Location: Oklahoma | Okay, I definitely do not like to be cheap when it comes to my horses, but I would definitely like to save some money when possible. I am looking for a saddle and really want to stay under the $1000 range, under $1500 if i nedd to. I am not against getting a used saddle, but have never shopped for them and have no idea where to look or what to look for to ensure I get a good deal. What brands do yall recommmend that won't break the bank? I ride Corrientes right now, which I absolutely love, but am just wanting to look into my other options. Mainly to have a different type of saddle around in case I get a horse that doesnt work in my corriente saddles. Thanks in advance!!! |

Location: Minnesota | I ride in a Texas Classic barrel saddle. It fits my Morgan/Friesian and my QH. I almost got my hands on a Texas Classic Roping saddle but someone got to it before me. |

| I love my Triple Creek - well worth the wait. I stayed pretty basic and ended up just over $1000.

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | Billy Cook /Oklahoma are made by Billy Cook and friends. The other Billy Cook is a Potts Longhorn saddle with a new name. Billy Cooks are solid saddles. You can get a new for under $1500. If you don't mind used there are several on Face Book, go to barrel saddles for sale or barrel saddle tack swap. You may want to stick to name brands such as Billy Cook, Circle Y, Crates, Courts, Pish,Tod Sloan, Alamo- this may also be in your pocket range and well made. |
