I LOVE THEIR TRY AND HARD WORK ETHIC, THE FACT THAT YOU CAN GO ALL DAY LONG ON THEM-AS LONG AS ITS NOT STEAM PRESSURE ENVIRONMENT. THEY ARE NORMALLY VERY FAST HORSES. I WORKED ONE YESTERDAY IN FRONT OF JACKIE BOB COX AND AFTER I SPRINTED THE LONG SIDE OF THE ARENA SHE KNEW WHAT I WAS RIDING.  THEY TAKE TIME TO DEVELOP AS YOU CAN'T RAM AND JAMB INFO INTO THEM. IV'E SEEN SOME BLOW UP IF YOU GO TO FAST WITH THEM.  IMO, THEY DON'T MAKE A HORSE TILL THEIR 6-8 YEARS. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET ONE TO FUTURITY AS A 4 YR OLD. I'VE DONE FAIR ON THE 5 YR OLDS BUT KEPT IT TO THE SMALLER FUTURITIES. I NORMALLY HAVE TO KEEP MINE THROTTLED BACK TILL THEIR 6 TH YEAR. AFTER THAT KATY BAR THE DOOR. THE SOLID STARTS COMING TOGETHER AND YOU GET TO ENJOY THE RIDE. MYSTIC EYE WAS A DIFFICULT BREEDER IF YOU HAVE A GRAND DAUGHTER OR DAUGHTER OF HIS HOLD ON TO THEM THEY HAVE A NICHE MARKET. SEVERAL SONS AND DAUGHTERS HAVE MADE THE NFR IN BARRELS AND CALF ROPING.

My stallion is out of a daughter. He's got a fantastic mind, gentle and so easy to train. His babies have been as well. He was injured early in his career, but looking back I wouldn't trade him for anything. He's nearing the end of his breeding career because of his injury. I've been blessed to ride several of his babies and compete on some inbetween having a family. pm me and I can tell you any stats I have of him. I have a picture on my website.

I would take one in a heartbeat.  I beleive he'd passed young so there are not very many.

I know two people around here that have own daughters and they will take your money any day of the week.  These are serious horses who are top 5 in barrels at congress and 1D at a national level.

I can't remember  the name right now, but a few years back one of the barrel racers at the NFR ran a horse out of a Mystic Eye daughter

Kelly Maben ran Mystic Angela "Bubba". He won several rounds the years he was there.

You gals are amazing!  This is making my decision really easy.  Thanks so much for anyone who took the time to reply.  I would share her cross but I'm scared someone will buy her out from underneath me! LOL!!!  Thanks so much
