don't want to start a fight on which is better, just looking for honest opinions on how they felt it worked for their horses, from people that use either one!!!

I absolutely LOVED putting my mare on one. She is usually very flighty and nervous. Put her on it and she fell alseep! Ran 3 tenths of a second faster the same day!!

I have a Theraplate.  Only had it for about 2-3 weeks so can't say I've seen any miracles.  I got the 2' x 3' so can only do one end of horse (front or back) at a time.  I have been putting both of my horses on it 1 x day for about 20-25 minutes each end (front & back).  My horses are barefoot and one has had some significant feet issues.  I mainly bought it for him in hoping to improve circulation, develop a better digital cushion, improve sole depth, increase hoof growth, etc.  Like I said, I haven't seen any miracles yet as it is really too early to tell, but my horses absolutely love standing on it.  It took them a couple of times to get used to it, but now they will stand on it without moving and I can clean stalls, mess around the barn, and even go in the house to get a coffee refill.  LOL  I had my husband build me a "stock" to use so they are standing level and I can put a bunge across the front and back so they really can't go anywhere.  I hope to eventually buy another 2x3 and be able to treat both ends at the same time to cut down on time.

I also sit or stand on it with my horses.  I have had pelvic/hip and lower back pain.  It seems to be helping!  :)

I have alot of the same issues with my horses...plus hock and SI issues, hoping for great results.  I also got the same one you have, going to do the same so they are level standing on it....

I bought my Theraplate 1 year ago, purchased it to help rehab my mare after surgery for removal of ankle chips... I CANNOT say enough good things about the product. After bringing the mare home from the vet she was on stall rest for 6 weeks I was only allowed to bring her out for 10 min walks and theraplate therapy.  After her six weeks I was allowed to turn her out on pasture rest for another 4 weeks. Well I was back running her after the full 6 weeks off and she came back stronger than before her surgery.  All of this was with consultation of the vet/surgeon he was very please with how well she healed and her quick recovery from the surgery.  I use it daily on all of my horses and have several people that bring their horses over to use the "plate".  I am not disappointed in my decision to buy the product.  I feel my horses enjoy their time on the plate they yawn and lick the entire time they are on it. I have yet to have a horse refuse to stand on it.  I have not tried any of the other products but a true believer in the Theraplate.

For those that own one or use them, are you using the 2x6 or 3x7? I know the bigger is heavier, just wondering what's better bang for your buck!
