Location: South Central Florida | I did a search, and could not find anything at all on here. And I googled/bing'd it. Can anyone explain the pay out to me?
I saw some of the interviews on the Road to the American, and Trevor B was saying non of the top 10 can win the $1M, which I had heard before. So what if one of them win's it, how much do they win? And how deep are they paying. I heard 2 places...but I can't find it anywhere.
So if anyone knows, or has a link would you share?

If no qualifier wins, they upped the first place to 225K using the million $ that was going to be paid if a qualifier won their event. | |

| the first 1 million is set aside for the winners in each class $100,000 1st $25,000 second. The second million is set aside is any of the qualifiers wins their class. If only one wins i.e barrel racing they take home the 1 million plus the $100,000. If 2 win, ie barrels and bull ridiing, they split the million $500,000 each plus the $100,000. and so on. If no qualifier wins their class, the payout will be increased to $225,000 for the winners.
Goog luck to all riding today in the RFD-TV's The American, 3-2-1 Action Video will be there taking videos of all the barrel runs again. Here are the 10 that made the trip via Mesquite, and have a shot at winning a million dollars!, and the order of go for the long round today. The top four from that will come back for a super shootout to see who wins the first ever American! | CJE - 2014-03-02 12:07 PM So only the qualifiers can win the million............why? To get them to pay the $500 entry fee and add a layer of excitement for the " underdog" to win big. Andrea Cline, as the BBR champion had a guaranteed spot to the semis but she chose to enter the qualifiers and have a chance at the million. The million would be divided among all the qualifiers who won their event. It could be 1 million, it could be 200k.
