I need a hair cut REALLY badly. I am very uncreative in that area, and always end up saying, "just trim it." So, to say I'm bored with my hair is an understatement.

Here's the most recent pictures I can find (last November)...only difference is it's a couple inches longer.

It's very thick, fine, and has a natural wave. I've also got a cowlick to deal with--which is at the front of my part. Any ideas for a fabulous new do?

I'm horrible at this....but heres a try....I think you need to go with layering, and definitely get them to go with a framing in the front, that would look really nice!

It looks like you have really thick hair like mine. Layers, frame the face, and since its winter I would color it darker. I use a semi permanent color so it wont damage my hair and it fades out evenly within 8-10 weeks. It also helped with the frizz.

You have very beautiful eyes!! Set those babies on fire by coloring your hair a dark reddish brown and layer it around your face.

I'm terrible with this kind of stuff too. And, I know it. So when I decided to change my hair, I emailed my hairdresser and told her to come up with something. She's been cutting my hair for 15 yrs, so she knows my hair, and she knows what kind of style I would like. She was SO excited I asked her, and she spent a whole week thinking about it.

I think the conscensus is to leave it fairly long, LOL. My husband pretty much had a stroke when I told him I needed a hair cut. And one of the guys at work said leave it. So, maybe a big color change...I've never done that. I like the brownish red suggestion--Hubby said he's been on the lookout for a fiery red head, LOL (ornery cuss). Maybe a few more layers.

If you were my client I would suggest a long diagonal forward. That way you have a new shape but can keep some of your length. Also, add some blonde highlights and a few chocolate lowlights.

I think an auburn color would look really good. Or like a warm, dark brown.

understand the hubby thing.. keep it longer with blended layering, frame your face and go out of the norm with the color. that's my thought.
