I just stumbled upon this tonight, and thought I would share, as I haven't seen it yet, but it's supposed to be a very good candid look at the man. It would be interesting to hear what people think of him after watching this and, more importantly, what people think would be different, had he been elected.  You may need to cut and paste:

I was going to go to bed early but once I started watching I couldn't stop.
It was good.
The questions is:  Has the USA gone to far to rescue it?

I don't know, Doug.  Maybe.  I honestly feel it will take a real catastrophe to teach this country a lesson.  I don't see a significant enough change from the status quo under any scenario to make enough of a difference.  I think the evidence is clear that we are going to have to learn the hard way.

Watching this video only reinforced my belief that this nation just missed out on the one last chance to turn things around.  Mitt was possibly the most qualified candidate to be President in my lifetime, as far as I'm concerned.  He had the strength, the intelligence, the experience, the track record of success, the decency, the selflessness, the dedication, and most importantly the strength of convictions and faith.  He had it all, and he lost to an incompetent inept, lying, evil man.  That's how I feel about it.  I wish he would give it one more try.

There is a fantatic article, can't find it right now, that goes through history and explains the demise of societies that came before us.   The tide turned when those with less outnumbered those who had more and voted in change that eventually led to the downfall of the society.  Societies became less productive and could not support the masses anymore.

I'm ashamed to think of how my impression of Mitt was so off the mark just 2 years ago.  There was nothing fake about him.  This documentary just shows so clearly exactly who he is and what he was about.  Not only did you get up close and personal with Mitt, but you saw the kids close up and you could see how Ann was his source of strength and guidance.  I loved the segment where Ann was out with her horses and how she referenced how her work with horses helped keep her MS quiescent.  I chuckled at how she was talking to the interviewer while scratching the horse's muzzle, then just grabbed his tongue and pulled it out, off to the side and chuckled.  They should have shown something like this BEFORE the election, not after.

I actually think one of Mitt's biggest problems was that he seemed "too good to be true"......but he was true. He was that good, that successful, that selfless, that God-fearing, that brilliant, and that loving. He was so good and so qualified that some people thought it was all fakery.

He didn't come off as real or genuine on TV. That coupled with his foot in mouth moments, in or out of context, is what hurt him IMO. I voted for him but I wasn't in love with him.

I don't think I'll ever forget, the day after the results of that ill-fated election, the disappointment on the faces of Ann and Mitt Romney.  They had such genuinely high hopes for the good things they could do for this country.  ......and then there was the gloating look on the faces of the Obamas and our ridiculous do-nothing vice president.  Paul Ryan was such an intelligent choice for VP.

I was filled with a deep sadness when Mitt lost to Obama...
Mitt would have been good for this country, no doubt...also believe that there was election fraud going on...and will again if the Repubs don't get their act together...and get smarter to the thuggery in the Democrat party.

Ann Romney would have been a awesome, classy, warm, First Lady...

I would say running the second time was giving america the "benefit of the doubt".  However, I believe he will be very influential in selecting the next nominee.

On a side note, I have been very disapointed with Mitt openly supporting a group in Utah that is currently attempting to change our current election system to an open primary, in which the richest canidate would win.

Pretty scary that it is evident that Mitt knew more what was going on and who we should be worried about then the President. It still ticks me off how O laughed when Mitt said we needed to be concerned about Russia. Putin is poking at him and laughing his butt off.

Exactly, NTO. I just saw that clip of from the debate on Fox where Obozo was making fun of Mitt's statement that Russia was our greatest geopolitical threat. Mitt just had the right instincts......Obozo is a fool and an embarrassment. Krauthammer called Obama's statements about Russia's actions in Ukraine "flaccid"! LOL. In other words, Obozo has no balls.

I backed him two years ago. I saw a headline today and haven't looked into it yet but it said something about Romney campaigning for C. Christie.
