What do you prefer as far as grain choice for an older barrel horse.. will be hauling a significant amount, previous ulcer issues, and not an easy keeper. Would prefer a place to buy from like TSC as a mill is not as easy of an option.

Equine senior is AMAZING. I have had very good results from it. Apple cider vinegar also helps just pour it on their feed.

As far as TSC goes I prefer Nutrena SafeChoice Sr. I've had excellent results with it on my 17 yr old gelding. He's got a twinkle in his eye and spring in his step that he hasn't had in a very long time.

If you are wanting to buy from somewhere like TCS, you might have good luck with just a creep feed and add calf mana to it for the extra bump. The only thing I don't like about buying from places like that is.. all supplies go to their warehouse first, so by the time they get to the actual store they are a month or so old. Just be careful and watch your feed.
