Just completed this a little over a week ago, but had to wait until the recipient received it before I could share it :)
A friend of mine lost her favorite horse in December and one of our mutual friends contacted me to do a painting for her as a surprise. I wasn't there when she got it, but was told that she loved it and started crying when she saw it.
This is the smallest one I've done, it's an 8x10 oil on canvas.
This one was special for me, because I know how much the horse meant to her, and I was glad I got to do a painting for her.

I love it. I would have cried my eyes out if it was my boy. He is still with me and I would love to have a painting done of him but the cost for something like that, I don't have... Your friend is very blessed to have you in her life.
