How do you all repair your PHT Blankets when they get ripped. I don't know what my little turd did but he murdered the turnout blanket that was on top of the PHT and then ripped a hole about the size of a football on his left side at about the girth area. Mine is the mesh...I don't know if they are all like that and I wasn't sure if I should just zip over it with my sewing machine or should I do a loop stitch by hand with more of a string rather than thread?
Also, what do you all do to repair your turnout blankets? Mine is one of those Tough 1 turnout blankets...its slick on both sides and has a little fill in the center.

The pht website has repair instructions or I think you can send back and they will repair.

Cross stitch thread and a big needle. Fixes them up lickety split. The turnouts I use my sewing machine.

I use braided fishing line to stitch up my Big D fly sheets. It works pretty good and the fishing line seems to hold up better than regualar thread.
