LQ lighting (changing bulb)
Lived to tell about it and will never do it again

Our LQ has several of the recessed lights in the ceiling and one is burned out. How do you change the darn things? I tried pulling it down but it only comes about 1 inch then springs back up. Tried puttin pressure on the bulb and twisting but that didn't work either. I'm sure it is really simple but I'll be danged if I can't figure it out.

You push up and twist. I couldn't figure it out either but my daughter did. FYI.....if you can't figure it out find a child. That's what I do.

These have little silver rings around them, I will try that in the morning. I am sanding some of the woodwork around the sinks and refinishing it. Thanks for the info and yes my son is going to have to come out and show me how to use the radio/dvd, it is connected in with the TV and I don't have a clue.

Yes mine has the rings too...I want to say mine are gold but it doesn't make any difference. I just asked her and she said those stay and the bulb pops out away from the rings.
