How do these pads work for an extremely high withered horses? Does it help set the saddle up off the withers?

Yes it did for my mare. But my mare doesn't have high withers....more of a hard to fit saddle type.

My horse is really high withered and yes it does help set the saddle up off the withers. I really like it on him.

I had a horse that goes uphill that has some soundness problems and was back sore made a big difference in him. The girl that sold the pad to me was a cutter she said even if you have you horse fitted you can need some adjustmnet because sometimes of the year they are fatter on the topline and sometimes theynare fitter and when we got to some of the big shows like back to back they tend to suck up.
