How are you dealing with it?  Wedges?

While my horse has some other issues going on, I think her sore shoulders might come from her high/low syndrom.  I had one of my vets suggest to put on a small wedge...

Any thoughts would be great!

The gelding I have has high low syndrome and Mike put on a wedge for a while and then was able to take it off after he got his feet where he wanted them.

And to add..when I first got him, besides landing toe first, he would take and short stride on that foot. Looked like he was picking his leg up and then stabbing it into the ground.

My answer is like Kathie's.  I had a really good farrier when I had Sandia.
We used a small wedge for a while then we were able to just go to regular shoes.
