Kidneys?

I posted a while ago about one of my horses having some type of skin reaction
(looked like sweat itch
). We got the superficial part of the issue fixed and the area is back to normal, but he is still sore and sensitive in the lumbar region.
It is going on 6 weeks now. He has seen the vet multiple times, had acupuncture, massage therapy, acuscope and chiro and everyone is giving me the shoulder shrug and "I don't know." The common guess is inflamed kidneys and sore muscles. The blood work came back good except a slight increase in his globulin levels. I just finished 60 days of SLH kidneys and started another bag.
He is not lethargic or losing weight. The one thing different I noticed is how touchy and sensitive his skin is. He is very twitchy when you touch him. And the vet noticed he was cool to the touch in the right lumbar area so I have him living in his BOT sheet.
Because the clinic doesn't know what direction to go they are suggesting a bone scan. Unfortunately it will take some time to save for that but until then I figured I would throw it up here and see if anyone has some thoughts and opinions!
Thank you!!!

There are accupressure points for both the liver and kidneys in that general area. From what you described of the skin reaction or fungus, I would be more inclined to look at the Liver Support from SLH. When the liver detoxes itself those toxins come out through the skin, this may be why he had a reaction show up. I don't think it hurts to use the kidney product at all, but I would look closer at the liver.
Also, is he sensitive to touch all over the body or just in that general area?

Thank you very much! I will order a bag of the SLH Liver detox as well.
He is very touchy all over his body, but his back is the worst by far.
