Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I sell a natural supplement, PulmonEZ, and have had a lot of customers that have been able to either get off Lasix completly or give a lot less. Message me if you are interested and I can tell you more about it and even refer you to some customers that use it and love it. |

I was not happy with silver lining herbs I've had a couple horses bleed on it. Are you talking what drugs to use? Or what non-drug/ supplement to use? I will never not use lasix on my two bleeders, I've tried products and I'm sticking with lasix I've never had a problem with it. You can pm me if you have any questions I have had a lot of experience with bleeders and it sucks :/ |

| I use Aculife Patches on the lung points. It's natural and it works. I have been able to stop using Lasix by using the patches. |

Location: Kansas | I used THE PulmonEZ as a treatment, then I had a blend with the additive for bleeders. My mare never bled again. I would highly recommend THE products for EIPH. |

| My mare is a bad bleeder and I basically have to run her on medication or else she bleeds. She bleeds through Lasix so I don't use that- Kentucky Red has been great for her. Pulmonez seemed to make it worse and she coughed like crazy- although have to say THE is an amazing company. I called to ask questions and explain what was going on with my mare being on their products- they refunded all my money because it didnt work for her. Classy business if you ask me. Bleeder stop worked good with the 2x. I have been trying Lung aid and it seems good too. I think the key is to find what works and stick to it. |

I've also heard good things of Kentucky Red. I think a couple NFR gals use it. And a couple if circuit gals up here who's horses have bled through lasix. Both my bleeders have never bled through lasix but if they ever do bleed through I would try it in a heart beat ........ a horse that I have that had never bled was in fact on silver lining at the time she first bled, the horse was only on the supplement because my other horse was a bleeder & I didn't want 2 bleeders, guess I got them. lol....I think a lot of people think "oh this supplement must have worked as my horse never bled again" most horses aren't true bleeders, so frankly they won't bleed again......also: some will only bleed once, some will bleed because it's very dusty ( in my case at least), some will only bleed when it's hot and humid, some will bleed when it's hot and dry, some will bleed because they are hurting, some will bleed when the ground is very deep and they are over working, some bleeders won't show sign of bleeding except for a slight cough about 5-10 min after running lol, it's kind of a crap-shoot, and possibly the most frustrating thing I've ever gone through with my horses.
The best advice I got from anyone was that you have to find the cause of the bleeding, if you know that then it's more than half the battle. |

Location: South MS | First I feed straight oats/beet pulp/flax - diet change has helped as I think it has gotten rid of some of our food allergen issues
I give my bleeder herbs (http://www.equinenaturalcare.com/Texas.html ) I did a hair analysis and started herbs and I have seen a big difference in attitude and the way he rides and his breathing
I am running on lasix but the better in shape I get him the less lasix I am going to give, I have a friend whose horse has come off lasix completely since starting the herbs and confirmed he is no longer bleeding |
