I tried to do some research but I couldn't come up with the right keywords to find what I wanted.
i would like to start making my own grain,
im not entirely sure where to begin,
I've had the recommendation of 2/3 oats (rolled and whole), then 1/3 barley and cracked corn. Then add renew gold and some herbs.
Just curious if many others have had experience making grain for their horses.

I buy from the local feed store in bulk. My mix is half oats, 25% rolled barley, 25% beet pulp. I add Liquid 707 so they are getting what they need. I also feed Forco. Some horses are supplemented as needed with Muscle Mass or AE Detox, but most don't need it. I love this program--everything looks really good after a couple months and it is way cheaper than bagged feeds with similar ingredients, and it is always clean and fresh.

Do you wet your feed when feeding?

Renew gold is intended to be fed alone or with a small amount of grain.  I feed  1 1/2 lbs if renew gold with 1lb triple crown Sr a day.  Then give Timothy/alfalfa hay.  I do add Platinum Perfornance for my supplement.
