Wondering if anyone here feeds this feed ? Looking for reviews on it . Anyone know if it is comparable to triple crown senior ? If its cheaper in my area I was considering giving it a try . If my horses will lose condition on it though , then I won't switch . Any reviews would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks !

I fed it for several years with great results. I fed next to nothing and my not so easy keeper stayed fat and slick. I only stopped feeding when I moved to Indiana because there isnt a single dealer in the whole state of Indiana! :
( I have never fed the Triple Crown Senior so I cant give you a comparison but I was pleased with the results.

I use the textured. I like the numbers on the pelleted better but the only reason I use anything is to stick vitamin/minerals to and the textured is sticky but pellets not.
I used both pelleted and textured at one time, but switched to TC Complete when they didn't look as good on the same amount any more. The feed changed a few years ago somehow
(other than $$ going up
).
I chose the Legends textured when I gave up bagged feed
(sans 1/2 pound per day for the vitamin
) because it IS sticky and still a good product.

I am currently feeding it to my 21 yr old gelding with great results.
Edited to ad-he looks the same and does as well as when he was on TC senior about 2 years ago.

I use the Legend Senior and love it. All of our horses are in wonderful condition coming out of winter on it.
Many get a handful and others get up to 2lbs.

I feed it to my mare. Shes very tb looking and it helps keeps pounds on and i dont have to feed a ton. she was on sentinel perf before and then was switched over due to not a bunch of feed stores carrying it. I pay about 21 a bag on long island for legends perf

I just switched my 2 guys to the performance mixed with the southern states select this month. Heard nothing but good things about it! I was paying out the
for a high fat rice bran. This has it already in the feed so Im hoping this works best! Up in the northeast Im paying about 20 a bag

legends performance is a fixed formula. i work for southern states. performance should run less than triple crown. tc sr is 21.40 at my store and performance pellets is around 19.85. i currently feed it to a 23, 17, & 8 year old with no problems at all. if you have any questions please feel free to ask me.
