Not Afraid to Work Posts: 4717	I love mine! It fits a variety of horses and think its the perfect middle ground between treeless and treed. I dont think I could ever go back to a regular saddle after my DS.

Expert Posts: 1857	Took me awhile to get used to sitting deep in the saddle. I was used to my billy cooks and Herefords so when I got my first Sibley I felt like I was being pushed back all the time. Now that I have mastered how to adjust the stirrups where I need them I don't have that issue. The Sibley's give me a lot more feel than my others. They have fit a wide range of horses but my mutton withered ones. someone said to use a thinner pad to fit them but I didn't have any luck or just haven't found the right pad for it yet.

The taller the cantle the smaller the seat. A 15 inch seat with a 5 inch cantle fits like a 14.5. I really prefer the 4 inch cantle myself. A 15 inch seat with a 4 inch cantle fits true to size.

You might try the Classic Equine Sensorflex pad for your mutton withered horses. That's the one I had luck with in that case.

Porta Potty Pants Posts: 2600	LOVE mine! I had a Tammy Fisher … horse loved it, but I couldn't get up when I needed to. Went to a JBN and it killed my back. Went to a treed saddle … less back pain, but couldn't get the right fit … everything rolled. Gambled and bought a used one. Have made 3 runs in it … no back pain beyond what I already deal with, keeps me centered … and no rolling. I've feel I ride better and am able to get up out of my seat. I like the tilt of the saddle horn, so I don't stab myself and I don't get hung up on the saddle horn. The stirrups are an adjustment but I'm pretty pleased with it. I want a new one now but I will let my non-horsey husband have a break forms saddle discussions.

Member Posts: 37	I sold my original to buy one custom. It will be here in about two weeks. I will post pictures when it arrives. I wiil not ride in another brand of saddle. They have me spoiled. Fits all my horses and me perfectly. I can even do hard 8 hour trail rides and im not sore and neither are my horses. That says it all to me.
