| We are ALL born with the same amount of faith. It takes each of us to ask Jesus to become Our Lord and Savior to develop faith and have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Faith is a belief in something or trust in some person, especially, trust and hope in God. It means a continual attitude of trust throughout life.
At times people have said I wish I had your faith. I said you do, but YOU have to put forth the effort to grow in Christ daily. This in one of the reasons I share my personal daily journey on BHW. I was baptized when I was 12 years old, God touched my heart , I cried uncontrollably. but like most as I went out into the world, I became worldly. I really didn't get the concept of what I was supposed to do for my relationship with Jesus. I went to church, prayed, and read books of devotionals. Yet I still hungered for God. mainly when I was in my struggles. I thought God was punishing me. I hate to admit this but when I turned 50 yrs old, and was sitting in the Surgeons office, about to find out my fate of breast cancer, did it hit me. I prayed God if you will only give me another chance, I vow to become the vessel you have always wanted me to be. THANK GOD he lets us make u turns. I had been on the fence, off the exit, on the wrong road, and yet God was there all the time ready for me to ASK, TO SURRENDER, to become faithful ALL the time.
There is a fact that you can count on. If you are on God's side, the enemy will rise up against you with lies, attacks, and accusations. However, his only motive is to discredit and dishonor you and the Lord you serve.
We, like David, need to cry out to the Lord during these attacks. Don't act unjustly on your own. Don't lash out. God IS WAITING FOR YOU TO TURN TO HIM, AND HE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP YOU.. Let God fight for you. Remember that God is FOR You, BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU. Remember Paul's words, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31 (sadly its usually ourselves that stand in our way)
The Lord stands ready with His army to fight for His bride. So LET GOD FIGHT FOR YOU. ONLY then can you truly STAND UP IN VICTORY.
I have been through so much, ruptured appendix, 3 failed marriages, broken ankle, hand ,busted knee, ruptured spleen, 5 concussions, identity theft, depression, NOTHING compares to my lost relationship with Jesus. I am still growing in Christ everyday, my faith is building my relationship with Jesus. its NEVER TOO LATE.
right now you can pray for your salvation. and grow in Christ. I promise that you won't regret it. ITS FOR ETERNITY!! AMEN

Father, I ask Jesus to become my Lord and Savior. Father , forgive me for my sins. I believe in my heart and mind that Jesus died on the cross for me, and resurrected. I receive Jesus with my WHOLE heart and soul. Will you guide me daily, so that all things I do will bring glory and honor to You. AMEN
You have just met Jesus personally. You are a new believer in Christ. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!
A relationship with Jesus is more than just reading devotionals, it is truly giving of yourself, and others to Jesus. As Jesus taught His disciples, so He will teach you.
As you grow spiritually, your faith, trust and hope will grow. THIS IS the RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. AMEN
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
HAVE A VERY BLESSED RENEWED DAY. Each morning we have a choice, to start our day worshiping , your time from now to eternity will involve learning what it means to be a citizen in Christ's kingdom. NOW THERE'S A LIVE WORTH LIVING!
