Spin off of the other thread...  But does anyone know if there are any lameness locators in or around Wyoming?

We have many good vets around the area but would like to see if any of them have a lameness locator.

If anyone from any other state would like to say where they have taken their horses to use one of these please do.  It may benefit someone else.

Dr Honnas has on in Bryan, tx. Unfortunately that does not help you. I was skeptical of it at first, but am pretty much a believer now

This is a list of all of the lameness locators!  I know there is one in St Louis MO and i've personally been to one in TN.

From the map that was posted, it looks like Sturgis, SD or Ft. Collins, CO will probably be your best bet. I've heard great things about the vet in Sturgis, and it says the one in Ft. Collins is at the vet school.

I've had some family haul to the vet in Sturgis and they have had great things to say about him.  I had actually been thinking about going to Deadwood this weekend just to get away for a couple of days, Sturgis is right in that area.

That would be the closest for me, not sure about Utahcanchaser though.

I've also heard great things about the vet in Spearfish. Many people in ND haul there with their problem horses.

Wasn't very much. I was worried about it and looked at my vet and went I guess you are about to break me and he didn't. I don't remember exactly but A LOT less than I expected.

Sturgis is only 2 hours from me so that would be my best bet.

While I know of some people that have had luck with this finding their problem or lameness, I did not have any luck and it actually sent me on a wild goose chase. Just don't totally depend on it being the end all of lameness issues.
