Location: NC | Still trying to figure out a saddle for my 6 yr old. My tex tan hasnt been bad but lately now that we are working more and sweating ive noticed dry pockets on her back. So on to buying a new saddle. I had a pro rider and it started pinching her withers. Was thinking about a teskeys but im wondering what other have used (not treeless please) for younger horses? please and thank you. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | How is your horse built? There is so many different saddles for different built horses out there so its hard to tell someone what saddle they would need. |

Location: Never in one place long | I've always had luck with my Tex Tan for my small 2-3yr olds.. it's the only saddle "small" enough to stay on them, depending on their build, I can add a thinner or thicker pad. I really depends on the build of the horse though so a tricky question. |

| How old is your Pro Rider? I just got a new one and the bars are wider and more flared than the older models. You might contact them about trading your old one in on a new one. My horse is all of 15.3, very wide, and very thick and the new saddle fits him great. Good luck! |

Thank you. Long Island lol. Shes a good girl just a pain to find a saddle to fit. Tried a circle y KK flex wide onher tonight and its to wide in the front. Dips forwards.
DLV i love my tex tan but honestly i think my other horse stretched it out when it was his and its too wide on her. It slides back as well as dry spots.
Brlraceaddict pro rider is maybe 2 years old. it was pinching her withers. and thank you! its annoying saddle shopping |

| Lisa Lockhart regular may fit her as it is as wide as the Kelly kaminiski but has a different flare in the bars.

I have tried a few of my friends saddles. Hopefully going to try a circle y KK regular this weekend. Alot of people have the kelly kaminski in a wide. Very frustrating. Unfortunately i dont think anyone on LI has a teskeys to try. Have a few friends with masters but im not sure if will be able to try them. |
