Location: Smack in the middle of WA! | Since I lost my video camera, kindle fire and laptop all in our house fire I am considering replacing all of them with an ipad. Problem is I'm an android person and know nothing about ipads! I got to use a friends last weekend to video and really liked it! Please enlighten me on the different types and gigabyte levels |

Location: Too Far North | I tried using an ipad instead of having a laptop/computer. It didn't work. There are many things that I couldn't do with an Ipad that I needed a computer for. I am talking working with documents etc. I found out I needed a computer, the Ipad was limited.
I still love my Ipad, but it is more for social media, cruising internet, and vid pics etc. |

Location: Idahome | I don't have an iPad, but have tried and messed with several and still can't learn to like them. I am an Android user as well and got a Samsung tablet that I love. I don't really like to use the tablet for video though, because when you zoom it gets grainy and I like to be able to plug into the TV easily to watch my runs. |

Location: Phoenix | I thought I was forever sworn off Apple products but after reading a review about how the apps on iPads were actually APPS amd designed for a great user experience rather than links to webpages like the Android apps....I was sold. Plush Android phone was forever crashing and I was sick of it. I learned really easy and now I have an iPhone as well. Never AGAIN will I have an Amdroid. Bleh! The technology is so much better! Like when I place my cursor somewhere, it actually stays there!!
I have a mini and it goes everywhere with me. I recommend getting the one with the data and the wireless connectivity. Not just wifi. Wifi is everywhere BUT you don't always have the password! Plus when you're out in the boonies rodeoing it is handy.
Sure, it can't play Flash but I've only run into that a handful of times and they were websites I didn't need to visit anyways....like shopping websites haha! |

Location: Somewhere between raising hell and Amazing Grace | I enjoy my ipad more then I did my droid tablets. But if you are looking to video a lot of runs, just get yourself an old fashion regular camcorder. We went back to using a camcorder and when we can't, we would use our cell phones before the ipad. |
