Texas Lone Star Posts: 5318 Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked	think that's called sickle hocked... I had a filly that had that and at 3 years when we broke her she had arthritis developing in both hocks. She could not do a slide stop- would start into it then hop out and also she would stop on her front end (dash board the heck out of me) because of it.

Saint Stacey	Sickle hicked is when they are too far underneath. Camped out is when they are out behind them. They can also be straight through the hocks. All 3 are faults that can lead to soundness issues. Short upright pasterns can also cause problems.
