Brace For Bernal: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/brace+for+bernal
Really loving everything about him and am considering breeding my cow bred mare to him next year.
His sire is Fury of the Wind who is bay, dam is Zoom Bracer who is chestnut. How the heck did this guy wind up with his color? He's registered brown but has a solid silver tail???

Location: Gainesville, TX | Maybe the silver dilution gene?? The only thing is I think his mane would be lighter too. Hmm. |

Location: East Texas | He is actually dark brown/bay and his tail is yellowish silver but they have bleached his tail since he was younger, and he stays in a stall so he looks black. |

I knew it was too good to be true! That silver tail is too perfect! On top of him being stalled I bet they dye his mane jet black. TexasCowgirlsMom have you seen him in person? Is he as good looking as the pictures? They dont have many candid photos of him which I would love to see. Especially with all the photoshopping that goes into a lot of these stallion flyers |

Yes ive seen him in person. He is just as good looking as his pictures! We had a colt & filly that was by Furyofthewind that were the same color as him, without the bleached tail so theirs were yellow. Ive seen a few Furys with the same color pattern. |

If it were silver, he'd look like more like a sorrel/chestnut & probably the mane would be lighter too.
Technically, silver doesn't dilute a red base but turns a black base to red (clear as mud, right?) |

| If memory serves me (and it doesn't always!), didn't Cigar have a silver tail? |
