I have ice knee boots and hock boots and ones that look like splint boots, but I don't think they make anything for the stifle....it would be kinda hard to wrap that area.

i have found one brand name nun finer for about $70-80  I think you need to put ice in them.. then there are the icehorse brand with gel inserts for $150. I think I would prefer the gel. was hoping someone with around here might have had experience with the cheaper one..

I have the stifle ice boots and they dont work very well.  The ice actually sits lower than what I would like and the strap that goes over the horses back is prone to slipping off the back of your horse then the boots fall down around thier ankles.

If you can tie something to the top strap and pull it forward then tie off around the horses neck, they work OK but not great.

Mine are the cheaper ones, the mesh pockets do not hold ice very well so I use the Ice Horse packs.

I have the IceHorse full back leg ice boots that go from hoof to stifle. They work OK, but when they are full of the gel packs they are SO HEAVY, and take at least two people to put on. I've had a hard time with the strap also, both it releasing from the boots and just slipping off the horse's butt.

Eventually I'd love to have the Icevibe boots...but for now I have a pair of IceHorse boots and the do the job!  I absolutely love ice boots, definitely easier and more efficient than cold hosing.

Ice vibes are definitely worth the money!! Super easy to use and very beneficial for the horses.
